Abstract:Objective To explore the value of multivoxel 2D 1 H‐MRS in the differential diagnosis of subacute cerebral in‐farction and low‐grade glioma .Methods Multivoxel 2D 1 H‐MRS were performed in 20 cases with subacute cerebral in‐farction and 22 cases with low‐grade glioma .The variation of Cho ,Cr ,NAA and Lac was observed and the ratios of Cho/Cr ,NAA/Cr and NAA/Cho were calculated and analyzed .Results Compared with the 1 H‐MRS images of the contralat‐eral or adjacent relatively normal brain tissue ,the Cho concentration decreased or increased slightly in subacute cerebral in‐farction cases and increased in low‐grade glioma cases .NAA concentration decreased in different degrees in this two cases . Significant difference was found on the ratios of Cho/Cr ,NAA/Cr ,NAA/Cho between the subacute cerebral infarction and low‐grade glioma .Conclusion Multivoxel 2D1 H‐MRS plays an important role in the differential diagnosis of subacute cerebral infarction and low‐grade glioma .
