Abstract:Objective To analyse CT manifestations of congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung and path ‐ological classification ,in order to improve the diagnostic level of the disease .Methods We retrospectively analysed the clinical data and CT manifestation of the 9 cases confirmed by surgery pathology as congenital cystic adenomatoid malfor ‐mation of the lung and compared with the pathological results .Results 9 patients were unilateral lung involvement ,inclu‐ding 5 cases of right lung (2 cases upper lobe ,3 cases in lower lobe) ,4 cases of left lung lobe (2 cases in upper and lower lobe each) .According to the CT classification standard ,6 cases were macrocystic pattern ,3 cases were microcystic pat‐tern ;the manifestation of the macrocystic pattern was characterized by single or multiple big cystides with air inside with surrounding irregular utricle ,among them at least one that the diameter was greater than 3 .0 cm ;the manifestation of the microcystic pattern was characterized by numerous ,honeycomb‐like utricle cavity of similar size ,and the maximum diame‐ter was about 0 .3 ~ 1 .9 cm .The pathological manifestation of 6 cases of macrocystic pattern is corresponding with Stock‐erI type ,the pathological manifestation of the 3 cases of microcystic pattern was corresponding with StockerII type .Con‐clusion Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung CT manifestation has certain characteristics .CT examina‐tion can correctly reflect the distribution ,shape and size of the cystic adenomatoid malformation ,also ,can speculate its pathological types .
