Abstract:Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi‐slice spiral enhanced CT scan for TNM staging of ad‐vanced gastric cancer .Methods 35 cases confirmed by endoscopy and pathology in patients with advanced gastric cancer were scanned by multi‐slice spiral enhanced CT .The scan plan were different according to lesion position based on the dis‐play in endoscopy and used a large pitch .TNM staging of gastric cancer were analyzed according to imaging of multi‐slice spiral enhanced CT scan (lymphocytes diameter ,CT values ,gastric invasion and range) and results were compared with pathological staging ,diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were analyzed with multi‐slice spiral enhanced CT scan in the di‐agnosis of advanced gastric cancer TNM staging .Results 35 patients underwent scans in above positions ,with a detection rate of 100% in patients with advanced gastric cancer ,including 13 cases of carcinoma of the gastriccardia or fundus ,9 ca‐ses of carcinoma of gastric corpus ,11 cases of carcinoma of antrum and 2 cases of total gastric cancer .The compliance rate was 73 .44% in the T and pathological staging ,53 .73% in the N and pathological staging coincidence and 91 .32% in the M and pathological staging .Conclusion Multi‐position multi‐spiralenhanced CT scan has a high value and important role in the diagnosis of advanced gastric cancer ,providing an important basis for preoperative staging and surgical guidance .
