Abstract:Objective To retrospectively analyze sonography of primary breast lymphoma in the eleven cases so as to im-prove awareness and diagnosis in ultrasound for primary breast lymphoma .Methods From the year of 2005 to 2013 ,elev-en cases of primary breast lymphoma in our hospital were confirmed by biopsy or surgical pathology ,their color Doppler ultrasonography was reviewed ,and their features were analyzed .Results Of the eleven cases ,ten had clearly visible mass ,one showed breast structural disorder and showed diffuse hypoechoic mass with no clear boundaries .Five cases of breast lumps were single and six cases were multiple .Ten cases were hypoechoic mass and one case was hyperechoic mass . Five cases were very low echo with irregular shape and streaky hyperechoic inside ,unclear boundary ,more posterior echo enhancement ,and color Doppler flow signals were rich .Conclusion When ultrasound examination of breast revealed low or very low echo with less regular figure ,less clear boundary ,streaky hyperechoic inside ,posterior echo enhancement , rich blood flow and multiple lumps ,lymphoma should be considered .
