Abstract:Objective To analyze the imaging findings of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma (PSH) and to improve the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the PSH .Methods The imaging findings of 10 cases of PSH confirmed by patholo-gy were analyzed retrospectively .All cases underwent CT plain scanning and contrast enhancement CT scans .Results All cases were solitary ,on precontrast enhanced CT imaging ,well-defined round or oval lesions were shown in 6 lesions ,4 ca-ses had ill defined margins .Eight lesions were homogeneous ,while ,2 lesions were heterogeneous .Characteristic air me-niscus sign (n=2) ,vessels at its periphery (n=3) ,ground glass around the lesion in 3 cases ,and prominent pulmonary artery sign (n=1) were shown .Seven lesions were enhanced homogeneously and 3 lesions enhanced heterogeneously a-mong ten lesions .Conclusion Well-defined and homogeneous masses with marked continuing enhancement are the main findings of PSH .Comprehensive analysis of all the signs will help to improve diagnosis .
