Abstract:Objective To explore the value of magnetic resonance sequence sensitive weighted imaging (susceptibility weighted imaging ,SWI) in assessment of Alzheimer's disease (AD) .Methods 40 patients with the clinic diagnosed AD were retrospectively analyzed .All patients were subjected to 3 .0 T MRI scan and the scanning sequences included T1WI , T2 WI ,T2 FLAIR and SWI sequence .According to the above sequences ,the slight abnormal bleeding signal numbers in frontal lobe ,temporal lobe ,parietal lobe ,and occipital lobe were calculated and statistically analyzed .Results The num-bers of micro hemorrhage and abnormal signals were shown by the four imaging sequences in the four regions were ana-lyzed with one-way analysis of variance and were shown significant differences (all P <0 .001);Further Bonferroni post hoc pairwise comparison found that abnormal signals in the four regions by use of T1WI ,T2WI and T2FLAIR imaging methods were significantly less than the numbers of abnormal signals by SWI imaging method (all P<0 .001) .Conclusion In patients with AD ,SWI sequence can show more micro focal hemorrhages and abnormal signals ,which can serve as a kind of precise micro hemorrhage of magnetic resonance imaging technology .
