16 CT in the diagnosis of small cell lung cancer clinical value analysis

Abstract:Objective To explore the CT manifestations and classification of small-cell lung cancers .Methods Spiral CT scans of 30 cases with small-cell lung cancer confirmed by pathology have been collected and examined to identify classif-ying characteristics .Results Among the 30 cases ,there are 4 cases of central hilar type (13 .3% ) ,15 of central compli-cated mediastinal type (46 .7% ) ,2 of peripheral type (6 .7% ) ,4 of peripheral complicated mediastinal type (16 .7% ) ,2 of diffusion along lymphatic vessels (6 .7% ) ,2 of pleural multiple lesion and metastasis (6 .7% ) ,and 1 of lung lobe type (3 .3% ) .Conclusion Spiral CT scan can offer clearly characteristics of small-cell lung cancer and its metastastic scope , and thus its classification will be of great value to clinical application and therapy .
