Abstract:Objective To discuss the feasibility for applying the prospective EGG-gated coronary artery imaging technol-ogy of 256-slice CT to the patient (heart rate<100 bpm) with stable sinus rhythm .Methods 271 patients received the coronary CTA by the 256-slice CT scanner .Coronary CTA was performed using retrospective ECG-gated and was formed at the end of systole (40% ~50% phase) .All the images were divided into 3 groups according to heart rate (70 bpm≤heart rate<80 bpm ;80 bpm≤heart rate<90 bpm ;90 bpm≤heart rate<100 bpm) and were graded by the scale of 4 scores based on the imaging quality .Results Totally ,3780 coronary artery segments were formed among which 3708 seg-ment can be diagnosed .The ratio of the diagnostic image for the three groups was 98 .59% ,97 .79% and 97 .9% respec-tively .Conclusion The steady and diagnostic images can be achieved by applying the 256-slice CT coronary artery imaging at the end of systole (40% ~50% phase) to the patient (heart rate<100 bpm) with stable sinus rhythm ,and if applying the prospective EGG-gated coronary artery imaging technology ,the result is much better .
