【 Abstract】 Objective: To discuss the relationship between atlanto- odontoid(AO) joint and lateral atlanto- axial(AA)joint degeneration. Methods:CT scans of AA joint were done in 164 patients who underwent brain CT examinations. Results:CT find
ings of atlanto- axial osteoarthritis(AAOA)included the narrowing of joint space, formation of cteophyte. Coclusion:AO joint and lateral AA joint degeneration begun after 40 years and 50 years seperatively. There were relation between them.
