EffectsofJianpiYiqiDecoctionCombinedwithLevothyroxine Sodium TabletsonSerum Tg,VEGFandBoneMetabolism in PatientswithDifferentiatedThyroidCancerafterOperation

Abstract：Objective ToinvestigateeffectsofJianpiYiqidecoctioncombinedwithlevothyroxinesodiumtablets onserumTg,VEGFandbonemetabolisminpatientswithdifferentiatedthyroidcancerafteroperation.Methods 92 patientswithdifferentiatedthyroidcancerafteroperationwereselected,whichweredividedintocontrolgroupandobservationwith46casesineachgroup.Patientsinthecontrolgroupweregivenlevothyroxinesodium tablets,andpatientsintheobservationgroupweregivenJianpiYiqidecoctiononthebasisofthecontrolgroup.Thetwogroupswere givencontinuoustreatmentfor3months.TCM syndromescore,serum Tg,VEGFandbonemetabolism indexeswere observedbeforeandaftertreatmentbetweenthetwogroups.Results Aftertreatment,TCM syndromescoresinthe twogroupsdecreasedsignificantly(P＜0.05),whichweresignificantlylowerinobservationgroupthanthoseinthe controlgroup(P＜0.05).SerumTgandVEGFdecreasedsignificantlyinbothgroups(P＜0.05),whichweresignificantlylowerinobservationgroupthanthoseinthecontrolgroup(P＜0.05).Serumalkalinephosphatase(ALP),bone glaprotein(BGP),procollagenINterminalpropeptide(PINP)andβ－crosslaps(β－CTX)weresignificantlyincreasedinbothgroups(P＜0.05),whichweresignificantlylowerinobservationgroupthanthoseinthecontrolgroup (P＜0.05).Thetotalefficiencyrateintheobservationgroupwassignificantlyhigherthanthatinthecontrolgroup (P＜0.05).Conclusion JianpiYiqidecoctioncombinedwithlevothyroxinesodiumtabletscaneffectivelyreducethe levelsofserumTgandVEGFinpatientswithdifferentiatedthyroidcancer,andimprovethelevelofbonemetabolism index.
