Abstract：Objective ToinvestigateserumRV－ablevelinpregnantwomen.Methods 324healthypregnant womenserumwerecollectedfromJun.2016toMar.2017inJiamusiMaternalandChildHealthHospital.SpecificantibodyofrubellaviruswasdetectedbyELISAandcomparedamongeages,numberofpregnanciesandparityaswellas sociodemographiccharacteristics.Results 83.3% ofthepregnantwomenhadRV－ab(95% confidenceinterval:78.9%～87%).Therewerenosignificantdifferencesamongages,numberofpregnancies(onetimevs.morethanone time)andparityaswellassociodemographiccharacteristics(P＞0.05).Conclusion Althoughtherateofrubella vaccinationisgenerallylow,mostpregnantwomenhavestrongrubellaimmunity.However,16.7% ofpregnantwomen aresensitivetorubella.Thissuggeststhatwomenofchildbearingageshouldbevaccinatedagainstrubellabeforeor duringpregnancy.
