Correlation between Pulse Diagram Parameters and Glycosylated Hemoglobin in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between objective pulse diagram parameters and glycosylat-ed hemoglobin(GHb)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in order to provide clinical diagnosis,medica-tion and disease severity assessment for T2DM.Methods The DS01 -E TCM physique identification health manage-ment system was used to collect and analyze pulse diagram parameters of T2DM patients.Correlation model was estab-lished between pulse diagram parameters and GHb indicators. Results There were significant differences between pulse parameters h1,h3,h4,h5,h3/h1,h5/h1,w/t,t1/t,t5 in diabetic group and those in control group(P<0.05). There were significant differences between parameters h1,h3,h4,h5,h3/h1,h4/h1,w/t,t1/t and GHb coefficients (P<0.05).Parameter w/t was the most close with GHb changes and had a positive correlation with GHb indicators. Conclusion Pulse diagram parameters in patients with T2DM can reflect changes of GHb,which can provide theoreti-cal basis and technical support for the diagnosis of diabetes as well as evaluate disease severity and risk warning.
