Application Effects of High Quality Nursing on Children with Pneumonia in China:A Meta-analysis

Abstract：Objective To systemically review the application effects of high quality nursing on children with pneumonia in China.Methods PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,CNKI,VIP,WanFang Data and CBM were searched for randomized controlled trials on application effects of high quality nursing on children with pneumonia published up to Apr.2016.Systematic review and meta-analysis were performed.Results 25 randomized controlled trials including 2853 patients were selected.The meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences on degree of satisfaction(RR=1.23,95％ CI:1.19～1.27,P<0.00001),total effective rate after clinical care(RR=1.19,95％ CI:1.16～1.23,P<0.00001),length of hospital stay(WMD =-3.82,95％ CI:-5.47～-2.17,P<0.00001),body temperature recovery time(WMD=-2.39,95％ CI:-3.66～-1.12,P<0.00001) and rate of complication(RR=0.31,95％ CI:0.22～0.42,P<0.00001) between the two groups.Conclusion High quality nursing is superior to routine nursing on children with pneumonia patients.
