Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of octreotide combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of hyperthyroidism exophthalmos. Methods 60 cases with active hyperthyroidism exophthalmos from Jan.2015 to Feb.2016 were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group.Patients in observation group were treated with octreotide and methylprednisolone and patients in control group were given octreotide.Clinical efficacy, inflammatory response, immune response and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results ①The clinical effective rate in observation group(93.33%)was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05);②IL-6,TNF,PAF and CD8+ were lower,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were higher in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).IL-6,TNF,PAF and CD8+ decreased,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ increased after treatment in observation group(P<0.05);③There was no significant difference in liver function index between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Octreotide combined with glucocorticoids are effective and safe in the treatment of hyperthyroidism exophthalmos.
