Clinical Observation of Patients with Uninary Tract Inflection after Kidney Transplantation
Abstract:Objective To investigate the risK factors and clinical characteristics of urinary tract infection after Kidney transplantation. Methods Clinical data of 96 patients with urinary tract infection after Kidney transplantation were reviewed from Mar. 2009 to Feb. 2015 in our hospital. Patients were divided into experimental group(n = 57)and control group(n = 39)according to age. Age,gender, graft function, acute rejection, catheter and double J catheter indwelling time as well as urine culture results were analyzed. Results In 306 times of urine culture for 96 patients, Escherichia coli infections were 126 times(41. 2% ),Enterococcus faecalis infections were 89 times(29. 1% ),Kleb-siella infections were 37 times(12. 1% ),the other were 23 times(0. 75% )and 31 times(10. 1% )were negative results. 41 cases were male and 55 cases were female. Urinary tract infection rate was higher in control group(22 / 39, 56. 4% )than that in experimental group(23 / 57,40. 4% ). There were 9 cases and 2 cases with impaired renal al-lograft function in the two groups. There were 11 cases and 4 cases with acute rejection(P < 0. 05). Urinary tract in-fection rate in 42 patients removing catheter and double J tube within 1 weeK after operation was 54. 8%(23 / 42). U-rinary tract infection rate in 54 patients removing catheter and double J tube 2 ~ 3 weeKs after operation was 59. 3%(32 / 54). Conclusion The incidence of urinary tract infection after renal transplantation is high and easy to relapse. The most common pathogens are Escherichia coli and enterococcus. Age and gender can affect the incidence of urinary tract infection after Kidney transplantation. There are no significant relationship between catheter and double J tube in-dwelling time and rinary tract infection.
