Clinical Effects of Middle and Distal Cholangiocarcinoma in 75 Cases
Abstract:Objective To explore clinical effects of middle and distal cholangiocarcinoma. Methods 13 clinical variables such as age, body temperature and duration of jaundice were analyzed in 75 patients with middle and distal cholangiocarcinoma. Results Survival time of patients who underwent radical resection was longer than those under-went palliative operation from long - term effect. Death rate and complication rate increased in patients with poor ob-servation indexes from short - term effect(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion Early diagnosis, early treatment and good general physical condition before operation can decrease death rate and complication rate in patients with middle and distal cholangiocarcinoma. It is necessary to choose proper surgical methods for patient at different stages and choose radical resection as far as possible to prolong survival time of patients.
