TST STARR Plus in Rectal Reconstruction
Abstract:Objective To explore safty and efficacy of TST STARR Plus in rectal reconstruction. Methods Twenty - four patients who underwent TST STARR Plus were retrospectively studied. Results Of all 24 patients, there were 15 patients with outlet obstructive constipation(including 10 patients with rectum mucous membrane folds and 5 patients with rectal anterior protrusion),3 patients with rectal polyp,2 patients with constipation caused by rectal intussusception after PPH,1 patients with postoperative recurrence after PPH,3 patients with severe prolapsed hemorrhoids complicated with rectal intussusception. Postoperative anastomotic bleeding occurred in 1 case,anal bulge in 3 cases,acute urgency in 1 cases,urinary retention in 8 cases. Anastomotic bleeding was cured in patients with emergency surgery,and the others were cured by conservative treatment. No significant complications and death cases occurred after 3 to 6 months follow - up. Conclusion TST STARR Plus is safe and effective in rectal recon-struction.
