Abstract:Objective To explore the ratio of apolipoprotein B(ApoB)and apolipoprotein A1(ApoA1)(ApoB/ApoA1)in predicting the risk of ischemic cerebral infarction and find the critical value of ApoB/ ApoA1 in order to provide help for clinical prevention of ischemic cerebral infarction. Methods 120 patients with ischemic cerebral in-farction were included in the study with 120 cases healthy control. Fasting venous blood were collected the morning af-ter hospital admission. Plasma triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(CHOL),adenosine triphosphate(ATP),high densi-ty lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL - C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL - C),apolipoprotein B and apolipopro-tein A1 level were measured and compared. ROC curve was drew to measure the sensitivity and specificity of ApoB/ApoA1 in diagnosing ischemic cerebral infarction. Results ApoA1 in patients with cerebral infarction was lower than that in healthy group. Area under ROC curve of ApoB/ ApoA1 ratio was 0. 881 for diagnosis of ischemic cerebral in-farction with high sensitivity and specificity(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion The ratio of ApoB/ ApoA1 has high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of ischemic cerebral infarction with high correlation with cerebral ischemia, which can be used as a sensitive indicator in the diagnosis of ischemic cerebral infarction.
