Expression and Clinical Significance of Integrin α3β1 in Gastric Cancer
Abstract：Objective To explore expression of integrin α3β1 in gastric cancer(GC)and its relationship with pathological factors. Methods Expression of integrin α3β1 in 115 cases of GC and 30 cases of normal gastric tissues were examined by immunohistochemical method. Results The positive expression rate of integrin α3 β1 in GC tissues (74. 5% )was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissues(6. 6% )(P < 0. 05). The expression level of in-tegrin α3β1 was associated with TNM staging,differentiation and tumor invasive depth of GC(P < 0. 05). Conclusion The expression level of integrin α3β1 can be an indicator for diagnosis and prognosis of GC.
