Anatomical Analysis in 256 Patients with Clavicular Fractures

Abstract：Objective To analyze the relationship between clavicular fracture types and anatomy in order to ac-cumulate anatomy information for clinical treatment. Methods 256 patients with clavicular fracture and raw data of X ray from 2007 to 2012 were collected. Anatomical types of clavicular fracture were analyzed. Results 182 cases were middle 1 / 3 fracture of clavicle(71% );51 cases were lateral 1 / 3 fracture of clavicle(19. 9% );23 cases were medial 1 / 3 fracture of clavicle(9. 0% ). 162 cases were traffic accident injury(63. 3% ),86 cases were fall injury(33. 6% ), and 8 cases were stricken injury(3. 1% ). Conclusion The skeletal muscle and ligament around clavicle,patterns,lo-cation and strength of external force as well as morphological characteristics of clavicle have influences on classifica-tion of clavicle fractures in different degrees,which can provide anatomical guidance in clavicular fracture surgeries.
