Diagnosis and Treatment of Pancreatic Trauma

Abstract：Objective To explore diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic trauma. Methods Diagnosis,treatment and complications of 21 patients with pancreatic trauma were retrospectively analyzed. Results 12 cases were gradeⅠ injury,6 were grade Ⅱ,2 were grade Ⅲ and 1 were grade Ⅳ. 4 cases were died of severe multiple injuries(1 case died intraoperatively and 3 cases died before operation). 4 cases were treated conservatively. Pancreatic leakage oc-curred in 2 patients. 17 cases were cured. Conclusion Early diagnosis and comprehensive exploration during opera-tion as well as choosing reasonable operation method,maintaining abdominal cavity drainage tube patency and effec-tively treating complications are the keys to improve cure rate and reduce mortality of pancreatic trauma.
