Renal Carcinoma with Hyperpyrexia as Main Symptom:A Case Report

Abstract:Objective To investigate diagnosis and treatment of renal carcinoma with hyperpyrexia as main symptom. Methods The clinical data of one patient with renal carcinoma with hyperpyrexia as the main symptoms was reported and discussed. Results Renal carcinoma was confirmed by preoperatively B ultrasound and CT exami-nation and renal puncture biopsy. Radical resection was performed under general anesthesia with laparoscopy. No hy-perpyrexia occurred after operation. Right renal clear cell carcinoma was confirmed by pathology. Conclusion Renal carcinoma with hyperpyrexia as main symptom is rare and easy to be misdiagnosed as well as neglected. The possibility of renal carcinoma should be considered for hyperpyrexia with unknown etiology and bad therapeutic effect.
