Comparison between Ultrasonic Elastography and Conventional Ultrasonography on Cervical Lymph Node

Abstract：Objective To compare diagnostic value of ultrasonic elastography and conventional ultrasonography on cervical lymph nodes. Methods 42 patients with a total of 93 lymph nodes from Jan. 2013 to Jan. 2014 in our hos-pital received ultrasonic elastography and conventional ultrasonography. Accuracy,sensibility and specificity were ac-cessed and compared. Results Sensibility,specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic elastography were 84. 10%,91. 33%and 83. 29% respectively. Sensibility,specificity and accuracy of conventional ultrasonography were 95. 10%,60. 25%, 80. 20% respectively. There was no significant difference in accuracy between the two methods(P﹥0. 05). Conclu-sion There are high diagnostic value of both ultrasonic elastography and conventional ultrasonography in the diagno-sis of cervical lymph node,which can be used according to the condition of patients.
