Drug Susceptibility of Ureaplasma Urealyticum in 482 cases

Abstract：Objective To explore drug susceptibility of ureaplasma urealyticum,and provide information for ure-aplasma urealyticum infection. Methods Mycoplasma IST 2 kit was used for culturing ureaplasma urealyticum in se-cretions of 921 patients with infertility. Drug susceptibility to commonly used antibiotics was also detected. Results 482 ureaplasma urealyticum was detected. Antibiotic susceptible rates to tetracycline,doxycycline,pristinamycin,josa-mycine,clarithromycin,erythromycin,azithromycin,ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were 97. 9% ,99. 2% ,100% ,99. 0% , 93. 6% ,78. 6% ,79. 7% ,13. 1% and 2. 7% respectively. Antibiotic resistances to ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were 47. 9% and 79. 5% . Conclusion Ureaplasma urealyticum is sensitive to tetracyclines and macrolides. However,drug resistances to ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin are high,especially to ciprofloxacin.
