Treatment of the First Maxillary Molar with Bone Window Technique Combined with Microsurgical Apical Surgery: A Case Report
Abstract:In this case, the buccal bone plate of the first maxillary molar was intact, but the MB2 root was missed and completely calcified. The distobuccal root had a lateral canal that caused furcation inflammation. This case was successfully treated by using the ultrasonic bone knife window exposure technique combined with microsurgical apical surgery to effectively seal the apical and lateral canals, achieving good results.
