Application of information list in dental outpatient nursing handover

Abstract：Objective To explore the application of informatization list in dental outpatient nursing handover.Methods A total Twenty-five nursing staffwho were on duty from October 1,2023,to March 31,2024,were selected to use the night shift handover checklist for three months.The effectiveness of nursing handover,the incidence of nursing adverse events,and the satisfaction of doctors with nursing handover were compared between the period before implementation and the period after implementation.Results After using the the information list for shift handover the evaluation of nursing handover effectiveness,the incidence of common adverse events in oral outpatient clinics,and the satisfaction of doctors with nursing handover all showed significant improvement compared to the period before implementation(P＜0.05).Conclusion The Implementing a checklist-based nursing night shift handover form is of great significance for the handover process in oral outpatient clinics and deserves continuous application and improvement in practice.
