Abstract:AIM:Exploring the effects of concentrated growth factor scaffolds combined with antibiotic paste on tooth and apical lesion healing in young patients undergoing permanent tooth revascularization.METHODS:From June 2021 to June 2023,80 young permanent dental patients undergoing revascularization in our hospital were selected and divided into(treated with root canal blood clot stent combined with antibiotic paste revascularization control group)and(treated with CGF stent combined with antibiotic paste revascularization observation group)40 cases each.according to the treatment plan. The clinical efficacy, tooth survival, healing of root canal lesions, and levels of gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors and vascular endothelial growth factors were compared between the two groups.RESULTS:the observation group had higher root length, root canal wall thickness, crown to root ratio, apical lesion healing rate, and positive rate of pulp vitality than the control group(P<0.05),while the apical foramen diameter was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the levels of interleukin-1 β and interleukin-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of vascular endothelial growth factor was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:In pulp revascularization surgery, the use of CGF combined with antibiotic paste can effectively control infection, promote the healing of root apex lesions and the recovery of pulp vitality, thereby allowing the root to continue to develop and improving the success rate of pulp revascularization surgery.
