Abstract：With the increasing demand of the people for oral preventive health care and hygiene services,the role and importance of dental specialized nursing care are becoming increasingly prominent,and there is also an urgent need for dental nursing talents.This article summarized and analyzed the development process of dental specialty nursing at home and abroad,as well as the advantages and experiences of talents training.It explored the improvement of the training and certification system for dental nursing talents,the expansion of the functional scope of dental specialized nursing,and the exploration of the career path of dental specialist nurses,in order to provide reference for promoting the development of dental nursing profession and the full cycle oral health management of the whole population in China.
