Reference and thinking about the US military dental health grading system for our military oral health service support

Abstract：The oral health service support system in the US army includes dental health grading system and oral medical service system.Its current dental health grading system is clear and well-arranged according to different military mission deployment.The dental health grading system plays an important role in assessing dental health condition scientifically and comprehensively,decreasing dental combat casualty and improving combat effectiveness.The present paper tries to introduce the dental health grading system in US army,and analyze the current condition of dental examination and assessment in our army.Then,some proposals aiming at enhancing dental health support capabilities in our army,were offered to improve the dental health support capabilities and combat effectiveness in our army.
