Recognition on cemental tear

Abstract：Cemental tear is a rare type of root fracture,which is often accompanied by periodontal diseases or periapical diseases.The clinical feature of cemental tear is not typical,and early diagnosis is difficult,which usually leads to misdiagnosis and erroneous treatment in clinic.In order to improve clinicians,understanding on the disease,the present article summarized the epidemiology,predisposing factors,clinical manifestation,radiographic and histological features,clinical management and prognosis of the cemental tear.
