Analysis on PBL teaching model in teaching reform of operative dentistry and endodontics

Abstract：Problem based learning (PBL)teaching model has become a popular international educational pattern. In recent years,PBL teaching model has been used in some medical colleges in our country. But it is still at the tentative stage,which needs more reform and innovation. This article discusses the application of PBL teaching model in operative dentistry and endodontics. The advantages and limitations of PBL teaching model in operative den-tistry and endodontics teaching are analyzed in order to improve the quality of oral medical teaching and promote the re-form of oral clinical education.
