Meta-analysis of fluoride foam for prevention of children dental caries in China

Abstract：AIM:To evaluate the effect of fluoride for the prevention of dental caries in children. METH-ODS:The Chinese literatures published in 2010-2016 about fluoride foam on caries prevention were collected. Meta analysis was performed with Revman 5. 0. RESULTS:10 RCTs studies showed that the prevalence rate of caries of the fluoride foam group was lower than that of the control group(RR=0. 76,95％CI 0. 74 to 0. 78, P<0. 05). CON-CLUSION:This systermatic review shows fluoride foam is effective to prevent dental caries in chidren.
