The problem and coping strategies for the improvement of undergraduate internship in periodontics study

Abstract：Periodontal disease is a common and frequently encountered disease of oral cavity,but there is a great shortage of dentists who can carry out standardized periodontal treatment in our country. Dentists should start from the standardized undergraduate training. At present, there are some problems, such as short period of internship in periodontal medicine practice for undergraduates of stomatology.This article elaborates the existing problems and coun-termeasures on the internship for undergraduate students of stomatology.
