Abstract:AIM: To evaluate the fitness of zirconia single crowns fabricated with 3D printing. METH-ODS:Zirconia single crowns were processed by a 3D printing system(test group,n=10) and by a CAD/CAM milling system (control group,n=10)respectovely. Marginal fit and internal fit were examined using a light-body silicone and a 3D inspection software-Geomagic Qualify. The independent sample test was used to determine statistically signif-icancy between the 2 groups by SPSS statistical package version 22.0. RESULTS:The fitness of marginal and internal of the crowns was (89 ± 19)μm and(87 ± 16)μm respectively of the 3D printing group, (94 ± 31)μm and (107 ± 33)μm respectively of the milling group(between 2 groups,P>0.05). CONCLUSION:The fitness of zirco-nia single crown produced by 3D printing meet the clinical requirements.
