Clinical application of temporary dental sealing materials

Abstract：Temporary dental sealing materials are widely used in dental clinic.With the development of sto-matology,various temporary dental materials have been developed and applied to enhance the performance and tempo-rary sealing ability. According to the time of usage,they can be divided into long-term,medium-term and short-term temporary sealing materials. According to the different categories, the main products include gutta-percha, ce-ments,resins and some commercialized temporary sealing materials. These materials all have their own advantages and disadvantages. This review is to discuss the various types and usages of the temporary dental materials.
