Research progress of orthodontic adhesives for the prevention of enamel demineralization

Abstract：Fixed orthodontic treatment was widely used in clinic in recent years because of the high effi-ciency and accuracy. Enamel demineralization and white spot lesions (WSLs) around orthodontic brackets occur fre-quently in orthodontic treatment. Prevention of enamel demineralization is the difficultiy and hot research spot of ortho-dontic area. The research progress on orthodontic adhesives for the prevention of enamel demineralization is overviewed in this paper.
