Treatment progression of clinical application of porcelain verneer in the cosmetic restoration for anterior tooth defect

Abstract：With the rapid development of the science and medical technology,the aesthetics demands and the effects of cosmetic restoration for anterior tooth defect have been more and more expected and increased. Porcelain veneer is a minimally invasive restoration technique in which the aesthetics effects has also been considered, and it is popular for both patients and dentists. In this article,the indication and contraindication of the porcelain veneer resto-ration and the tooth preparation,resin adhesive,sheltered effect of anterior restoration,comparation for different type of tooth preparation,clinical colorimetric,diagnostic mock-up and the research status of the restoration techniques are revied,so as to provide references for Clinical application and study of anterior teeth cosmetic restoration.
