Research progress on the relation between resolvins and periodontal diseases

Abstract：Resolvin is a novel endogenous medium found in the last decade which has significant anti-inflammatory and pro-resolution effects for various types of inflammation.In recent years,more biological effects of Resolvin were found,such as preventing bone resorption,inducing bone remodeling,slowing the swelling and reducing the inflammatory pain.This paper summarizes the research progress on the relationship between resolvin and periodontal diseases.
