The study progression of the function of MicroRNA-29 in bone diseases

Abstract：MicroRNA-29 family is a kind of non-coding single strand RNA molecular which suppresses genetic expression through the level of transcription and translation.Recent studies suggest that osteoblasts,osteoclasts and other osteocytes can express MicroRNA-29.It affects metabolism,differentiation and secretion of osteocytes through several signal paths,and plays a vital role in regulating physiological (developmental stage) and pathological (osteosarcoma,osteoporosis,dysosteogenesis,osteoarthritis) process of bone.The function of MicroRNA-29 in physiology and pathology of bone are reviewed.
