A preliminary study on education reform and position competence based education of dental students

Abstract：The modular teaching reform for undergraduate students is used in the school of Stomotology Fourth Military Medical University of Stomotology, which exceeds the limitations in the traditional dental education.The reform include improving the curriculum design and changing the former 21 discipline-oriented courses into 9 disease-oriented modules.Through the reform, teaching quality, students learning efficiency and students' abilities of diagnosis and treatment are improved.
