New approaches of vital pulp therapy in permanent teeth

Abstract：Vital pulp therapy aims at maintaining healthy pulp tissue and long-term tooth survival by initiating the formation of reparative dentin or calcific bridge, eliminating pulpal inflammation, and preserving the normal functions of dental pulp.Pulp capping and partial pulpotomy procedures are the most widely used in clinic.The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of advances in prognostic factors, techniques and capping materials of vital pulp therapy in permanent teeth.
