Comparison of the training patterns for dental students between China and USA

Abstract：The training pattern in USA dental schools aims to train the dental students to be elite dentists in the future.Overall, the pattern is typical, classic and successful.In this article, we compared the different training patterns between China and USA, including the aim, sources, system, characteristics and methods of the training.As advanced training experience, american training pattern may provide an example for us to develop the training program of our dental students.This article also brings up some suggestions which might be helpful to train our dental students to be qualified dentists.
