Research advances in the influence of surface treatments of sclerotic dentin on bonding performance with composite resin

Abstract：Dentin is closely associated with endodontium,with aging and/or in the presence of pathological stimulus,the structure of dentin may generate a series of defensive or reactive changes.In addition to common reparative dentine,transparent dentin can also develop,which can be called sclerotic dentin,its structure is quite different from the normal dentin,and its bonding strength with resin is lower than normal dentin.In this paper,the different surface pretreatments on the bonding performance between sclerotic dentin and resin are reviewed.
