The practice and approache of disease-oriented education mode in the teaching of dental material science

Abstract：The disease-oriented learning mode has been proved to be an effective method in medical edu-cation. How to implement disease-oriented learning mode in the teaching of Dental material science, a basic subject in stomatology, is still in an exploratory stage in China. This study compared the teaching effects of the disease-orien-ted learning mode(n=35) and the traditional mode(n=37). In theory examination similar results were obtained by both groups, in experiment examination better effects were achieved by disease-oriented learning mode (P<0. 05).
