Abstract：As an international system of caries detection and classification,ICDAS can detect the damage condition of the teath with caries from the early to late stages to obtain the rating of the health status of the teeth in the form of figure.According to the severity of the caries,ICDAS classifies caries into 7 levels,whose code is from 0 to 6, respectively.This system can not only detect the condition of oral health but also can evaluate the level of oral health for the groups,which can be applied in the teaching,clinic and science research of dentistry as well as public oral health.
