Abstract：Periodontitis is the disease of bacterial infection in periodontium and it is the most leading reason for adult tooth loss.The research on effective and reliable vaccine to the prevention and treatment of periodontitis has become a hot spot.Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.g)is closely related to the development of periodontitis.In this re-view,the research progress of P.g periodontitis related gene vaccine in recent years is introdued.
