Expression of CLC-3 in mouse tooth germ development

Abstract：AIM:To verify the temporal and spatial expression of CLC-3 in different developmental stages of mouse tooth germ.METHODS:The tooth germs from E 13.5,E15.5,E18.5 and P1,5 d BALB/c mice were col-lected,CLC-3 expression was examined by regular paraffin serial sections and immunohistochemical staining.RE-SULTS:When the mouse tooth germ was in bud stage,CLC-3 was observed in the dental lamina epithelium.During cap stage,CLC-3 was expressed in the dental papilla cells and dental sac cells.In bell stage,CLC-3 was distributed in the dental papilla cells,dental sac cells,stellate reticulum cells and middle layer cells.When the mouse was born-CLC-3 was widely expressed in dental papilla cells,dental sac cells,ameloblasts,odontoblasts,stellate reticulum cells and middle layer cells.CONCLUSION:CLC-3 is expressed with different temporal and spatial patterns in dif-ferent stages of mouse tooth germ.
