Application of Nd：YAG laser in the treatment of periodontal diseases

Abstract：Nd:YAG laser has the advantage of deep tissue penetration, good hemostasis effect and sterili-zing effect. It is widely used in periodontal treatment because it can control inflammation and promote periodontal tissue attachment formation. This review summarizes the application and effects of Nd:YAG laser in the treatment of periodon-tal diseases.
