Abstract：Abstract] Wnt signalling pathways include the canonical Wnt pathway and non -canonical pathways.Grow-ing evidence indicates that Wnt signaling pathways orchestrate tissue development and stem cell self-renewal.Wnt/β-catenin signaling is known to be crucial for tooth development and bone formation.Furthermore,several members of the Wnt family were observed in the presumptive dental epithelium or mesenchyme.The differentiation of dental follicle cells needs the regulation of Wnt signaling.This review emphasizes the role of Wnt signalling pathways in tooth devel-opment and the osteogenic differentiation of dental follicle.
