Abstract：Stromal cell-derived factor-1α(SDF-1α)can recruit endogenous stem/progenitor cells to the injured site to participate in tissue repair and regeneration.More and more attention has been paid on SDF-1αas a promising strategy in tissue regeneration.In this paper,the application of SDF-1αin tissue regeneration of bone, teeth,vessel,nerve,cartilage,tendon,controlled release technology and etc.are reviewed.
